In Honor of National Talk Like a Pirate day we were off to Seattle’s best pirate themed restaurant The Jolly Roger. The Jolly Roger is one of my favorite lunch stops with delicious sliders and a rotating menu of hot sandwiches it offers a huge variety on a small menu. I started with part of a Schnitzel Sandwich off their rotating menu. It was fantastic a really tender piece of battered pork loin toped with smoked cheddar and deep friend fennel strings all served on top a very nice freshly baked roll. I then moved on to a couple of their sliders very solid with a generous toping of cheese and grilled onions. I opted out of the fries and went with the Caesar Salad which was well done with a little kick in the dressing.
