It’s Taco Tuesday and there’s a new taco wagon in town Flair Tacos, in Fremont right across from the 7-11. This is my second trip to Flair Taco in a week and I find my self conflicted. The tacos are tasty with solid Al Pastor and tasty Salsa Verde. If I have a complaint its that the tacos are a little sparse in the filling department. I have trouble complaining about a $1.50 taco but a little more Al Pastor would have been nice.
With the Torta I’m a little less ambivalent and not in a good way. The Carne Asada was good but the other elements were a little lacking. I like guacamole but not on a torta I prefer a little sliced avacado. The guac tends to get the bread a little soggy and the result is although tasty, a little texturally challenged.
